RavenWolf Retro Tech is launching a fresh series that dives deep into the legacy of Commodore computers. Titled “64 Commodore,” this series isn’t just about restoring old hardware—it’s about the stories behind these machines and the people who used them.
While repairs will be part of the narrative, they won’t dominate the screen time. Instead of detailed technical breakdowns, most episodes will focus on the unique challenges each restoration presents, treating each repair like a puzzle. The hands-on technical aspects, like soldering or keyboard cleaning, will be summarized to keep the spotlight on the broader story.
The series will primarily feature key Commodore 64 models throughout its first season, but other systems will make appearances as well. RavenWolf Retro Tech is also maintaining a record of each restoration, tracking what issues the machines had and how they were resolved. Most of these computers come from the extensive Stone collection, with Amigas sourced from a local TV station and connections from the Eugene-Springfield Amiga Users Group (ESAUG).
What to Expect in Season One
RavenWolf Retro Tech has several episodes lined up for the first season, though the list is subject to change as production evolves:
