Just tried install of Color 7.37 and got it to the caller screen, but there is no functionality beyond this point.

I am running a WiModem, but notice that it did not get the initialization string... so assuming something is locking up at system initialization?

I've tried with both JiffyDOS enabled and disabled.

System is running off SD2IEC / no REU / C128 in C64 mode.

Modem setup:
Normal/Inverted? n
User bit 32? n
Use AT? y
Support DTR? y
Init: ate0x1s0=0s10=30v1  (note: this init string works with Color64 v8 and Centipede 128)

Hi @mike. The Wi-Fi modem may not be sufficient due to the way version 7.37 works. To address this, you'll need to set up a telnet bridge using another device, such as an old laptop, PC, or Raspberry Pi. By configuring BBS Server or TCPSER on the bridge device, it can accept incoming connections and establish the final link to your Commodore 64.

My system ( running on BBS SERVER) uses something a bit different. Look at these...

NORMAL/INVERTED HOOK - N

USER BIT 32=HIGH SPEED - Y

USE 'AT' MODEM COMMANDS - N

DOES MODEM SIPPORT DTR - N

INIT COMMAND - ATE1X1S0=0S10=30F1Q0V1M0

I hope that will work for you as I would love to drop having a server and let it run on its own via a WIFI modem. I haven't heard of any success with it though but of course I may have missed that conversation. Here is a screenshot of page 1 of BBS setup. Let me know here or on the BBS.

@desert-fox Thanks! Odd that it runs fine with v8.0 - must be something they tweaked in the ML.
