Thomas Christoph from COREi64 has announced that work on the RAMLink RAMcard XL’s is progressing. The V1 and V2 boards are functioning well. The V1 board is tested and complete, while the V2 board works after some minor adjustments, as shown in the photos. The next run of V2 boards is expected to be fine.
In addition to supporting up to 64MB of onboard RAM, the V2 board now has the ability to retain the date and time on the RTC when power is disconnected. A few more components were added to the V2 board to support the additional memory, which required it to be slightly larger. However, the good news is that it still fits under the hood of a stock RAMLink.
