Welcome to this special episode of BastichB 64K, featuring an in-depth documentary on every Advanced Dungeons & Dragons game released on the Commodore 64 by Strategic Simulations Inc. (SSI) from 1988 to 1992.
The journey began in 1987 when SSI acquired the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (AD&D) license from TSR. This led to the publication of 30 titles in the series, starting with Pool of Radiance in 1988 and concluding on the C64 with Gateway to the Savage Frontier in 1991. These TSR products were central to the games released using the SSI Gold Box engine.
