Berzerk is a classic arcade game from the golden age of arcade video games. It was designed by Alan McNeil and released in 1980 by Stern Electronics of Chicago. The game was one of the first video games to include speech and transcended the arcades to be ported to the Atari 2600, Atari 5200, and Vectrex home consoles. It was never officially released for the Commodore 64, however, in October of 2022 an arcade-accurate homebrew version of the game was released by Arlasoft for the C64.
