Genesis Project has just dropped a new C64 music release titled Your Indecision, and it’s everything a SID fan could ask for—sharp, stylish, and sonically clever. Released on May 14, 2025, this demo is short but loaded with character, showcasing both the musical and graphical talents of acrouzet.
There’s a lot to appreciate in this C64 music release. The tune starts off strong and builds into a melody full of sly chord progressions and playful lead lines. Around the 0:56 mark, a standout riff adds a grin-worthy hook that returns later, locking it into memory. The rhythm never gets overly aggressive—this track stays controlled, letting its subtleties speak louder than volume ever could.
Feedback from the scene has been glowing. Hate Bush called it a welcome arrival after a slow month for SID music. Mibri highlighted the “subtly spicy chord changes,” while TheRyk chimed in with praise for a “massive tune” that proves the NTSC demo scene is far from quiet.
Beyond the music, this C64 music release includes visuals also crafted by acrouzet, rounding out the experience into a clean, confident demo. Whether played in VICE or on real hardware, the result is the same: smooth, satisfying SID work worth revisiting.
