The SEUCK Compo 2025 is officially back, and voting is now open. After a break since 2021, the C64 game development contest returns with a fresh batch of entries built entirely in the Shoot ‘Em Up Construction Kit—or one of its Sideways variants. This year’s submissions are ready to be played, judged, and celebrated.
To vote in SEUCK Compo 2025, all you need to do is download and play the entries listed on the Submissions Showcase. Once you’ve tried them all—and yes, try them all—head over to the vote sheet to cast your scores.
This isn’t just a contest for seasoned pixel warriors. Newcomers and first-time SEUCK users are welcomed, too. The rules are simple: your entry must be original, created using SEUCK, and should ideally show care in gameplay, graphics, or both. But there’s no pressure to be perfect—this is about creativity and fun.
A few fair play reminders: If you’re the creator of a game in the compo, give your own entry a score of 1 on the form. If you forget and mark yourself higher, it’ll automatically be adjusted. No gaming the system—spam votes will be ignored.
Voting is open until May 31st, 2025, so there’s still plenty of time to load up your 1541, fire up your Commodore 64, Ultimate 64, or Vice and get playing. Each game deserves a fair look—so don’t just skip to the flashy ones. You might discover a gem made by someone learning SEUCK for the very first time.
