The Commodore Los Angeles Super Show 2025 delivered a weekend packed with vintage computing charm, hardware demos, and late-night prep that only true enthusiasts would power through. Organized and hosted by Robert Bernardo, the event brought together passionate fans of the Commodore legacy at the Burbank VFW Hall.

Doors opened at 1 p.m. on April 25, but long before the first attendee arrived, the behind-the-scenes crew was already hard at work. Travis and Heather Smith rolled in from Portland, Oregon, to help Robert set up tables and chairs. Later, Marc Rifkin and Forrest McClain arrived with their own equipment, displays, and energy. Robert stayed on site until midnight, ensuring every last keyboard, monitor, and joystick was show-ready.

One of the standout exhibits came from Travis Smith, who demoed the TeensyROM 64/128 in style—including a MIDI guitar rigged to work with Commodore hardware. His setup gave curious visitors a hands-on look at how modern interfaces can breathe new life into classic machines.

Marc Rifkin’s setup was equally eye-catching: a Checkmate 1500 paired with a matching monitor, surrounded by conversations about Amiga history and future builds. He and Jason Forster were spotted flipping through Amiga 40th anniversary shirts, no doubt debating which one best matched their setups.

A wealth of moments from the event were captured by Sasa Pocek, Matthew Arnold Stern, and Jason Forster. From hardware close-ups to candid behind-the-scenes shots, their photos give a solid sense of the energy in the room.

To see the action for yourself, Robert Bernardo has posted a gallery of photos and videos from CLASS 2025 on his blog: http://blog.retro-link.com. It’s a great follow-up if you couldn’t attend—or just want to relive the vibe.
