Commodore 64 Fixed and Restored

212

In this episode, the Triple Freedom channel presents a full test of a repaired Commodore 64. The machine was initially brought in with a black screen, completely non-functional. Upon powering it on, nothing appeared on the display, and it was noted that the PLA chip was overheating. It was discovered that someone had previously attempted a poor repair, incorrectly soldering and desoldering the chip. The team replaced the damaged PLA with a new one, and while everything initially seemed to be running smoothly, another issue arose.
