LukHash proudly presents the long-awaited commercial release of a legendary Commodore 64 track—Druid II: Enlightenment—38 years after its original composition. The track, written by David M. Hanlon in 1987, is a defining piece of the early chiptune scene and became widely recognized through the iconic Fairlight crack intro. Having shaped LukHash’s musical taste from a young age, this reimagined version introduces the classic to a new generation.
To showcase the track, LukHash performs the main theme live using a guitar-powered Commodore 64 setup. The hardware includes an Ultimate 64 Elite with TeensyROM, delivering an authentic sound experience. The left audio channel features a MOS Technology 6581 R3 SID chip (date code: 2284), while the right channel utilizes an 8580 R5 SID chip (date code: 1690).
