Commander X16 developer Some slight modifications need to be made, but the manufacturing process at the local PCB fab was scheduled for 4/14/2023 for their first development prototype.

This iteration primarily serves as a mechanical/electrical test, including an examination of PoE and a 6502 bus access to SPI circuit functionality. Ultimately, it aims to incorporate RS 232, MIDI IN/OUT, and Ethernet 100Mbps with PoE to power the Commander X16 from PoE capable Ethernet. Male headers are designated for a logic analyzer, while female headers serve as an emulator for a development tool. These components are likely to be removed in the subsequent prototype, expected around May.
