Commodore 1541 Disk Drive: Dual Kernal ROM Adapter
Want to MASSIVELY speed up your 1541 Disk Drive? In this video we make a Dual-ROM adapter, sourced from PCBWay, allowing us to install two, switchable ROMs in my 1541 disk drive. This adapter will allow me to have BOTH a JiffyDOS ROM, massively speeding up my drive, as well as the original Commodore Kernal ROM, as a fallback, if any incompatible disks are encountered.
