CRG: Amiga 500 Plus w/ Battery Damage And More

When one local user reached out for help with his battery-damaged Amiga 500 Plus, CRG was happy to offer their assistance. The damage to the board was not as bad as they had seen in some cases, but there was still some corrosion to repair. However, that was not the only surprise this machine was hiding. There was also a Vortex AT-ONCE expansion card installed in the CPU slot. This card appears to have been used to try to protect the CPU from battery damage.
