One of CRG’s fans Allan recently acquired this Amiga 500+ intending it as a restoration project due to common battery leakage issues that had wreaked havoc on the board. Surprisingly, it initially powered up, but upon attempting to remove the gate array for cleaning, several positions in the socket broke loose, and unfortunately, the gate array lost a few legs in the process. Allan now seeks assistance to fix the damage.
