This Amiga 500 Plus was generously donated to CRG last year by Neal of @NLKMediaGroup, along with another A500 rev 6. However, this rev 8a unit, like many of its kind, has suffered from the dreaded battery rot.
At first glance, the damage didn’t appear too severe, but as the repair progressed, it turned into one of the most challenging cases CRG has encountered. CRG noted, “That might be partly due to my attempt at a different cleaning method for this board.”
