This week, there are two disk drives under examination. The primary focus of the video is aligning one of them, while the other was purchased as spares or repairs with unknown issues.
As mentioned in the video, manually aligning a disk drive like this may not be the conventional method, but it proves to be much simpler than connecting a scope and far more economical than purchasing a test diskette (£60). While it cannot be guaranteed that it is aligned perfectly, if it successfully reads all attempted inputs, it should suffice.
