The family-run restaurant “Ostendarp's Jans – Zum Dornbusch” was founded in 1902 by Johanna Ostendarp. In 1980/81 the old pub on the street was demolished and a new one was built on the former Schützenhalle, now the hall. Today the restaurant is in the hands of Sandra and Thomas Ostendarp. In May 2008, the building was renovated again and an attractive restaurant with Irish flair and an ideal outdoor terrace to relax on was created.
