FairLight Releases ‘Edison 2025’ C64 Invite Demo at Revision

FairLight, one of the most recognizable names in the Commodore 64 demo scene, has just released a sleek new invitation demo for the upcoming Edison 2025 event. This time, they brought it to the Revision 2025 stage—a perfect launchpad for anything C64 that wants to turn heads.

Simply titled “Edison 2025 invite”, the demo is a short and stylish teaser that does exactly what it sets out to do: let you know Edison is coming, and you probably don’t want to miss it.

Behind the scenes, it’s the usual powerhouse lineup. Qdor handled the SID work with a sharp, punchy soundtrack that keeps things moving without overstaying its welcome. On the visual front, Soya and tNG teamed up to deliver slick pixel art, supported by a tight coding performance from Trident. The whole thing was wrapped up in a clean video capture courtesy of Pitcher, making it easy to check out even if you don’t have a C64 setup handy.

It’s not trying to break technical boundaries or top charts—this is a demo with a purpose: invite, inform, impress, and move along. And it pulls that off with classic FairLight confidence.
