WebFritzi is back with another in-depth demo, showcasing the latest updates and improvements to GUI64, a graphical user interface designed for the Commodore 64. In this second full demonstration, viewers get a closer look at the newest features and refinements, highlighting how the project continues to evolve.
For those unfamiliar, GUI64 transforms the classic C64 experience by providing an intuitive way to run programs and games, as well as manage files—allowing users to cut, copy, paste, delete, and rename with ease. It even supports disk formatting and renaming, making file management far more user-friendly.
The latest work-in-progress (WIP) version of GUI64 can be found in the Developer branch of the project’s GitHub repository. Since this is still under development, expect a few bugs, unfinished features, and possible performance issues. But for those eager to test the cutting-edge updates, the D64 file is available for download here:
