Hundra Amiga AGA brings a classic 1988 Spanish 8-bit game to the Amiga, and it’s now available for download. Originally developed by Zeus Software and published by Dinamic, Hundra starred a fierce Viking heroine on a mission to rescue her father. This 2025 port by Amiga Factory updates the adventure with fresh 64-color graphics, parallax backgrounds, and dynamic lighting effects powered by the REDPILL engine.
The team at Amiga Factory didn’t just port Hundra—they rebuilt it visually and technically. The new version supports AGA machines with at least a 68020 CPU and 2 MB RAM. From upgraded visuals to particle effects and custom splash screens, this isn’t a simple 1:1 reissue. There’s even an Easter egg hidden in the game, nodding to Spain’s classic software era. For fans of Redpill, this port also showcases several recent engine improvements.
In the story, Hundra fights to save her father Jorund, a Viking king imprisoned after being deceived by Loki. The gods won’t free him—but they allow Hundra to try. To succeed, she must collect three sacred gems before escaping the shadowy kingdom of Lukx. Players must guide her through danger, then survive a harrowing sea journey back home.
The game offers two levels: a side-scrolling action stage and a return voyage aboard a Viking ship. It’s a fresh structure that nods to Dinamic’s sequel tradition, while still respecting the original’s design. Music for the Amiga version comes from the TMA archive, and fans will also find HAM-based splash screens, with one image paying tribute to the Amstrad CPC version.
Hundra Amiga AGA is released as a “name your own price” title, with a suggested contribution of $2. The developer has also included downloadable manuals, maps, and bonus assets.
