Modular Synth & Amiga Creation

163

Ms Mad Lemon shares her latest experiment combining Modular Synth & Amiga to create a new track titled Reminiscence. Her process begins with the Varigate 4 Plus module, which instantly sparks a melody. She then expands the idea with her Polyend Tracker, forming the rhythmic base. The Modular Synth & Amiga combination drives her workflow, merging vintage texture with digital precision.

Building the Track from Scratch

Starting with a melody from the Varigate module, she moves on to record the first part of the song using the Polyend Tracker. Later, she completes the second part entirely on her Commodore Amiga. The tracker clock synchronizes with the Varigate 4 Plus, keeping every rhythm tight. This Modular Synth & Amiga pairing showcases how seamlessly old and new hardware can work together.

Exploring Sound and Texture

Ms Mad Lemon crafts a unique bass drum using FM synthesis, preferring its rich tone over standard samples. She layers sounds with modules like the Morpheus Z-Plane Filter and Quazar Stereo Processor. Each module adds depth and motion, while vintage reverb creates that signature late ’70s and early ’80s feel she loves.

Looking Ahead to Primavera

Her song Reminiscence is part of her upcoming album Primavera, soon available on Bandcamp. She invites fans to follow her channel and share her music to support independent creation. The video offers a detailed look at her process, giving fans insight into how passion and curiosity shape her sound.
