Sky Shapers is a high-octane, 50 FPS vertical-scrolling shoot-’em-up from the Norwegian indie studio Digilicious Nibbles. With its handcrafted visuals and distinctive charm, this adrenaline-fueled game delivers a thrilling arcade experience. Packed with three massive levels, 37 enemy types, intense boss fights, and a variety of weapon upgrades, it keeps players locked in and ready for action. Plus, with a cinematic intro, bonus point screen, and a persistent high-score table, there’s always a reason to jump back in for one more run.
The game earned an impressive 88% from Amiga Addict’s December edition, with reviewer James Walker praising it:
“Whether you’re here for the laser-zapping, minigun-spinning chaos or just want to relive some classic arcade shooter vibes, Sky Shapers is (literally) a blast from start to finish.”
The Story
It all started with a mission to Mars—and a deadly virus that hitched a ride back to Earth. Within weeks, all insects were wiped out, throwing the planet’s ecosystem into chaos. To prevent global famine, scientists built pollination robots called Sky Shapers. But the virus mutated, corrupting the machines and turning them against humanity.
As the world crumbled and food supplies vanished, a desperate scientist created a poison to neutralize the virus. But starvation took him before he could finish his work. With his final breath, he trained his pet hawk, Tycho, for one last mission: to destroy the infected Sky Shapers and locate the last seed vault to restore life on Earth.
Now, you are Tycho—the last living creature on the planet. The fate of Earth rests on your wings. Can you stop the virus before it’s too late?
