Hiroyuki Imabayashi’s legendary puzzle game, Sokoban, is being faithfully reimagined for the Amiga by developer Pawel Tukatsch, aka Tukinem. First introduced by Thinking Rabbit in Japan in 1982, this classic game captivated players with its strategic challenges and sold over 400,000 copies before becoming a global phenomenon. Under the title Soko-Ban, the game made its U.S. debut in 1988, released by Spectrum HoloByte for platforms like the Commodore 64, Apple II, and IBM PC. Tukinem’s new adaptation aims to bring the charm of Sokoban to Amiga enthusiasts, with a demo already showcasing the gameplay that has stood the test of time.
