Prolific developer Pinov Vox has released two new gameplay test videos showcasing early builds of upcoming C64 SEUCK games. These previews reveal two distinct titles—Spy On The Road and Iron Ace – each capturing the unmistakable energy of classic Commodore 64 action.
In Spy On The Road, players take control of a secret agent on a mission to eliminate a gang of high-speed terrorists. The hero’s supercar, equipped with missiles and bullets, delivers fast-paced combat as enemies swarm from every direction. Crashing doors, blazing weapons, and relentless motion define this chaotic highway showdown. The game, built using the Shoot ’Em Up Construction Kit (SEUCK), features a catchy soundtrack by R. Bayliss of TND64 fame. While it’s not yet available for download, the video offers a thrilling glimpse of what’s to come.
The second title, Iron Ace, shifts the action skyward with a top-down scrolling space shooter. The design stays faithful to classic C64 shooters, complete with vibrant effects and tight gameplay loops. Developed using the same 1987 SEUCK engine, Iron Ace delivers a nostalgic blast of sound and motion. A beta demo version 1.0 is in progress under the Voxvideogame & Co label.
Both projects highlight Pinov Vox’s commitment to keeping the Commodore 64 spirit alive through inventive new titles built with timeless tools.
