Robin Nerdington initially planned to create more Mega Man music on the AY sound chip but soon discovered the VERA PSG sound capabilities of the Commander X16 hardware. Instantly captivated by its potential, he found it reminiscent of the Commodore 64 but with expanded features and greater versatility.
One of his latest projects, a remix of Tornado Man’s Theme from Mega Man 9 for the Commander X16, was a particularly time-intensive endeavor. Taking an entire week to complete, the final result is now available for listeners to enjoy.
