Thomas Christoph of COREi64 has shared photos of two case designs for the upcoming CMD TurboMaster V3 reproductions, offering a glimpse into the latest progress on this long-awaited project.
The first is a fully transparent case, an eye-catching design that showcases the internal hardware in stunning detail. The clarity is remarkable, with “TurboMaster V3” embossed directly onto the lid, giving it a clean, refined look. Christoph has no plans to add stickers to this version, as it’s more of a personal showpiece. It’s uncertain whether this transparent design will make it into full production or remain a limited edition.
The second case takes a more traditional approach, crafted from metal and finished in a striking teal color. It combines durability with a sleek aesthetic, making it a standout choice for those who prefer a more polished look. Christoph has also finalized a design for the feet of this case and has started printing them, signaling that this version is closer to completion.
With these case options taking shape, the TurboMaster V3 is edging closer to reality. Whether users get their hands on the transparent version or the metal case, it’s clear that this project is being developed with care and attention to detail.
